What is Park & Reflect?
A platform for reusable mini-billboards in approved parking areas and at events. It brings together hosts, campaign funders, cause experts and manufacturing partners to deliver useful social-impact messages.
What makes it different from ordinary advertising?
The cause leads every placement. A brand gains visibility by funding a useful social-impact message and resource. The board, its digital destination and any follow-up must support that public benefit.
Can brands and products be visible?
Yes. Brand acknowledgement and relevant product recognition can show who enables the campaign and how their contribution supports the cause. Unrelated product promotions, price offers and disguised sales funnels do not fit the platform.
Who pays for what?
Infrastructure partners fund approved manufacture, training and production capacity. Campaign funders pay for a defined campaign and its delivery. A cause organisation can take either or both roles.
How do hosts earn revenue?
Through agreed placement rental, revenue share or an event arrangement. The school model proposes 40% of paid placement revenue for the SDA, with the calculation and payment terms set in writing. Other hosts receive site-specific proposals. Income depends on funded placements.
Are the boards permanent?
School and event deployments are normally installed for the event and removed afterwards. Recurring parking-site campaigns have their own term, servicing and replacement schedule. A digital follow-up can continue separately.
Do you use old tyres?
The tyre-base version is designed to reuse suitable recovered tyres. A competent technical review and prototype determine the final construction and safe handling. Other base variants have different material profiles.
Who will manufacture the boards?
The proposed model brings a vocational or polytechnic partner together with people in substance-use recovery and people rebuilding after mental-health challenges. Qualified supervision, funded orders and fair pay are central.
Is the programme already operating?
The initiative is seeking pilot partners. Website illustrations show proposed use, not completed deployments. Production capacity, funding, agreements and site approvals must be in place before launch.
Do messages guarantee behaviour change or better health?
No. We design for a specific useful action and evaluate delivery and response. We will not claim health outcomes, sales uplift or long-term impact without evidence.
What happens when someone scans a campaign QR code?
The intended destination is the useful resource promised by the message. Each campaign needs an approved and functioning resource before printing. People should be able to understand the physical message without a phone.
What is the first step?
